Outcomes - Mega Textile Parks in Challenge Mode
An engaging and insightful session on Mega Textile Parks in Challenge Mode was conducted by hashtag#NICDC as part of the Post Budget Webinar 2026–27.
Smt. Neelam Shami Rao, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, visited the site along with the NICDC team to review the progress of the park and engage with key stakeholders driving the project forward.
During the visit, a stakeholder meeting was convened with representatives from the State Government, implementing agencies and industry stakeholders to discuss development milestones, infrastructure readiness and investment opportunities.

Today’s Bharat is working to take its textile industry to the top of the global market. The country’s goal is to restore the thousands of years of pride in Bharat’s textile sector. PM MITRA Park is another significant step in this direction.

What is PM MITRA?

PM MITRA (Pradhan Mantri Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel) Scheme is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, being implemented in collaboration with State Governments.

The scheme aims to transform the textile sector by establishing seven world-class, Integrated Textile Parks across the country. These Parks will offer Plug-and-Play facilities, bringing the entire textile value chain from spinning and weaving to processing and garmenting within a single location.
