PM MITRA (Pradhan Mantri Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel) is a flagship scheme of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, implemented in collaboration with State Governments. It aims to establish seven world-class integrated textile parks that bring the entire value chain from spinning and weaving to processing and garmenting within a single location

Integration of the value chain is expected to reduce logistics costs, attract investments, boost exports, and enhance global competitiveness. The scheme is structured to create large-scale, plug-and-play textile parks with strong economic and employment outcomes.

स्थलों के चयन के लिए चुनौती पद्धति
  • पीएम मित्र पार्कों के लिए 13 राज्यों से 18 प्रस्ताव प्राप्त हुए।
  • पात्र राज्यों और स्थलों का मूल्यांकन वस्तुनिष्ठ मानदंडों जैसे कनेक्टिविटी, मौजूदा पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र, टेक्सटाइल/औद्योगिक नीति, अवसंरचना, उपयोगिता सेवाओं आदि के आधार पर चुनौती पद्धति से किया गया।
  • सत्यापन के लिए गति शक्ति टूल का उपयोग किया गया।
